A day in diabetic skin

Where this bottle fits

Washing every day should not be the thing that dries you out. Usually it is.

  1. The morning shower

A sulfate-free lather carrying ceramides and urea, rather than a strong foam that strips.

  2. Pat, do not rub

Then moisturise while skin is damp. The wash is only half the job.

  3. No mid-day tightness

The test of a mild cleanse is what your skin feels like eight hours later.

  4. The evening shower

Same bottle, same restraint. Twice a day is fine when the wash is built for it.

What it actually does

The family-size wash for skin that reacts to soap

The same idea as the smaller hydrating cleanser, in the bottle you keep in the shower for everyone. A mild, sulfate-free cleanse carrying ceramides and urea, so washing daily stops being the thing that dries you out.

On the skin

Sulfate-free lather

Cocamidopropyl betaine and sodium cocoyl isethionate clean without the tight, stripped finish that follows ordinary soap.

Into the barrier

Ceramides and urea

Ceramides NP, AP and EOP sit alongside urea and glycerin — the lipids and humectants dry skin runs short of.

After the rinse

Calm, not tight

Aloe, calendula and bilberry extracts are there for comfort on skin that reacts easily.

Diabetic Cleansing Wash

How to use

Diabetic Cleansing Wash
Wet Wet skin with lukewarm water
Lather Lather with hands or a soft cloth
Rinse Rinse and pat dry

Formula

What is in it, and why

A short list, chosen for what diabetic-prone skin is short of — not for what reads well on a label.

Barrier lipids

Ceramide Complex

Ceramide NP · AP · EOP

Replaces the lipids that hold the barrier together — the first thing to go when skin dries out.

Humectant

Urea

Urea

Draws water into the outer layers and softens the flaking that follows dryness.

Soothing

Aloe & Bilberry

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract · Vaccinium Myrtillus

Botanical extracts included for comfort on skin that reacts easily to washing.

Barrier support

Pro-Vitamin B5

Panthenol

Supports the skin’s own repair process and eases post-shower reactivity.

Product details

What’s inside the bottle

About this product

This Diabetic Body Wash is crafted for sensitive, dry skin. It gently cleanses without stripping moisture, helping soothe irritation while maintaining the skin’s natural barrier.

  • Mild, sulfate-free body cleanser

  • Hydrates and nourishes dry, flaky skin

  • Soothes itchiness and sensitivity

  • pH-balanced and dermatologist-tested

  • Perfect for daily diabetic skin care

Who should skip it

Not a fragranced bath product. If you have an open wound, an active infection, or unexplained skin changes, speak to a clinician before adding anything new.

The 60-second version

Wet skin with lukewarm water, work a generous amount into a lather with your hands or a soft cloth, and massage for 30–60 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry — never rub. Follow with a body moisturiser while the skin is still slightly damp.

The step that matters most

The five minutes after the shower matter more than the shower. Moisturise while skin is damp.

Before you start

Check feet and legs for cuts, cracks, or blisters before washing. On diabetic skin, small breaks deserve attention rather than a new product.

Questions, answered

How is this different from the Hydrating Cleanser?

Same intent, bigger bottle and a slightly richer botanical blend. The 125 ml Hydrating Cleanser suits one person; this is the shower bottle for a household.

Can the whole family use it?

Yes. It is built around sensitive, dry skin rather than around a diagnosis.

Will it foam?

Lightly. A big foam usually means a strong surfactant, which is what we are avoiding.

Is it fragranced?

No added fragrance.

Can I use it on my face?

Use the mild face cleanser instead — facial skin is thinner and more reactive.
