Finish the step Cleanse, then moisturise

Pair with the Diabetic Magnesium Lotion — the barrier work happens in the five minutes after you towel off.

How to use it
  1. 1Wet skin with lukewarm water

Hot water strips an already-compromised barrier. Warm, not hot.

  2. 2Lather and massage 30–60 seconds

Use hands or a soft cloth. No scrubbing, no loofah on dry patches.

  3. 3Rinse, then pat — never rub

Moisturise within five minutes, while skin is still damp.

One 125 ml bottle lasts roughly 6 weeks at one shower a day.

What it actually does

A cleanse that leaves the barrier where it found it

Ordinary soap works by stripping — it lifts oil indiscriminately, takes the barrier lipids with it, and leaves skin squeaking. On diabetic-prone skin, which already loses water faster and repairs slower, that squeak is the problem. This is a sulfate-free wash built to lift sweat and grime and stop there.

On the skin

Mild surfactants

Cocamidopropyl betaine and sodium cocoyl isethionate lather without the harsh sulfate cleanse that leaves skin stripped.

Into the barrier

Humectant load

Glycerin, urea, and hyaluronic acid pull water into the stratum corneum while you wash rather than after.

After the rinse

Comfortable, not squeaky

Calendula and pro-vitamin B5 calm the reactivity that follows a shower on sensitised skin.

Cleansing strength
2 / 5 — deliberately mild

Strong enough for daily sweat and city grime. Not strong enough to strip a barrier that is already struggling. If you want a squeaky-clean finish, this is not that product.

Formula

What is in it, and why

A short list, chosen for what diabetic-prone skin is short of — not for what reads well on a label.

Humectant

Hyaluronic Acid

Sodium Hyaluronate

Holds many times its weight in water and keeps it in the upper layers, where diabetic skin loses it fastest.

Humectant · Keratolytic

Urea

Urea

Native to healthy skin and depleted in dry skin. Draws water in and gently loosens the flaking that follows.

Barrier support

Pro-Vitamin B5

Panthenol

Calms the post-shower reactivity of sensitised skin and supports the barrier repair process.

Soothing

Calendula

Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract

A long-standing botanical for irritated skin, included for comfort rather than for the ingredient list.

Product details

What’s inside the bottle

About this product

Carefully crafted for diabetic-prone skin, this hydrating body wash gently cleanses without dryness or irritation. It refreshes, soothes, and supports the skin’s natural moisture balance.

  • Ultra-gentle, sulfate-free body cleanser

  • Deeply hydrates dry, sensitive skin

  • Soothes irritation and tightness

  • Maintains healthy skin barrier

  • Ideal for daily diabetic skincare routine

Who should skip it

Skip it if you want a strongly perfumed bath product — this is fragrance-free by design. If you have an open wound, an active infection, or unexplained skin changes, see a clinician before adding any new product.

The 60-second version

Wet skin with lukewarm water. Work a coin-sized amount into a lather with your hands or a soft cloth, and massage for 30–60 seconds — paying attention to legs, arms, and elbows, where dryness sets in first. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean towel. Never rub.

The step that matters most

Moisturise within five minutes of towelling off, while the skin is still slightly damp. A good cleanse followed by nothing is a wasted cleanse.

Before you start

Check feet and legs for cuts, cracks, or blisters before washing. On diabetic skin, small breaks deserve attention rather than a new product.

Before you choose

Three quick reads

01 · Buyer guide

Why diabetic skin behaves differently

A disrupted moisture barrier, an elevated pH and heightened sensitivity mean generic products often make dryness worse rather than better.

02 · Fit check

How to tell if this is your step

Match the product to the moment — cleanse, treat, moisturise or repair — and to the body area, rather than buying by ingredient name.

03 · Routine match

The five minutes after bathing

Moisturise while skin is still damp, especially on legs, arms, elbows and anywhere that feels tight after towel drying.

Before you buy

Questions, answered

When should I choose a hydrating cleanser?

When ordinary soap leaves body skin feeling dry, tight, or itchy after bathing. If your skin feels squeaky-clean and then uncomfortable twenty minutes later, that is the signal.

Should I moisturise after using it?

Yes — and soon. Apply a body moisturiser within about five minutes of towelling off, while skin is still slightly damp.

Who should skip this cleanser?

Anyone looking for a strongly perfumed bath product; this is fragrance-free by design.

Can I use it on my face?

It is formulated for the body. For facial skin we make a separate mild face cleanser suited to thinner, more reactive skin.

Is it safe if I am not diabetic?

Yes. It is built around dry, sensitive, barrier-compromised skin — a description that fits plenty of people without a diabetes diagnosis.

How long does one bottle last?

Roughly six weeks at one shower a day for one person.
